Premier League high flyers Arsenal are set to be handed a huge boost with the news that key midfielder Santi Cazorla is set to put pen to paper on a new deal with the north London club to join both Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky in confirming their desire to also remain at the Emirates, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The Spain international has been with the Gunners now since August 2012 when the wide man first arrived at the club from La Liga outfit Malaga on a four-year deal.
And in the intervening two-year period in the capital, the 29-year-old has gone on to prove himself to be one of head coach Arsene Wenger’s most important and influential players, and so the news that Cazorla is on the verge of agreeing a new deal that will keep the player in north London until 2017 will come as a big relief to everyone associated with the club.
Meanwhile, it is also believed that Arsenal will shortly announce that experienced Germany international Mertesacker has now approved a contract that will keep the centre back at Arsenal until the summer of 2017.
And Czech Republic international Rosicky has given the green light to a new one-year rolling contract too.
