The Gunners need to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night if they wish to progress into the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.
And while very people have given Arsene Wenger’s side any chance whatsoever against the European champions, the England international disagrees.
“Last season we went there 3-1 down and everyone wrote us off but we managed to get a good 2-0 win there,” he said.
“We’ll be feeling we can take something from that and in football a lot of things can happen.
“There is a 100 per cent chance we can do it.
“We are a top side, they will know the job’s not done and we know the job’s not done.”
