Luke Shaw (Southampton)
The 18 year old left-back is perhaps the ideal man to replace Patrice Evra and the teenager is arguably already capable, even in his tender years, to make that leap.
One of the latest off the St Mary’s production line, the Southampton youngster is calm and composed and rarely makes mistakes. Already capped at full national team level Shaw may well be part of Roy Hodgson’s 2014 World Cup finals squad and if he is then his already sky high price-tag will get all that more heady.
It appears that Alexander Buttner is not being seen as a viable option to fill the void that will be left by Evra’s likely summer departure, Shaw looks likely to be Man United’s first choice target.
