Italian giants want White Hart Lane star.
Inter Milan will look to strengthen their attack with a move for Tottenham forward Emmanuel Adebayor according to Football Direct News.
The San Siro side are under new ownership and have already pulled off something of a coup by luring away Nemanja Vidic away from Old Trafford and have also been linked with moves for Fernando Torres and Edin Dzeko.
Adebayor was largely overlooked by former White Hart Lane boss Andre Villas-Boas but has been a man reborn since Tim Sherwood took charge, netting 10 goals in 15 Premier League starts and helping to make up for the expensive flop signings of Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado.
Sherwood is expected to leave Tottenham at the end of the season and as such Adebayor may be even more likely to consider a move to the Serie A side.
Inter Milan have experienced some very lean years of late and president Erick Thohir is looking to bring in a batch of new additions to help guide his side back into the Champions League picture.
Adebayor has just over a year to run on his current Tottenham contract and has scored a total of 39 goals in 90 appearances for the north London club.
