Here’s ten stars we reckon could be on the move in the not too distant future…

10) Serge Aurier – Toulouse to Arsenal

It looks as if the young Ivorian will be able to wrap up his move to Arsenal from the French leagues, now that Ivory Coast have been knocked out of the World Cup. The youngster will replace Manchester City bound Bacary Sagna at the Emirates.

9) Adam Lallana – Southampton to Liverpool

Lallana has virtually completed his £25m move to Anfield, after passing a medical on Friday at the club’s training ground Melwood. The 26-year-old will add class and guile to the Reds midfield.

8) Diego Costa – Atletico Madrid to Chelsea

The Spanish powerhouse forward is on the verge of completing a £32m move to Stamford Bridge, to solve Jose Mourinho’s striker problem.

7) Filipe Luis – Atletico Madrid to Chelsea

A transfer for Filipe Luis seems a formality, now that Atletico Madrid have already signed his replacement Guilherme Siqueira. The Brazilian will allow Mourinho to switch Cesar Azpilicueta to right-back if he does complete a £19m move.

6) Daryl Janmaat – Feyenoord to Manchester United

Janmaat’s impressed mightily at the World Cup with the Dutch, and Louis van Gaal is expected to bring him with him to the World Cup upon the tournament’s conclusion. He won’t break the bank, and will provide competition for Rafael at Old Trafford.

5) Alvaro Morata – Real Madrid to Juventus

The Spanish striker is likely to conclude a £16m to Juventus shortly, with the interest of Spurs and Arsenal not enough to persuade the Real Madrid forward to stall.

4) Lazar Markovic – Benfica to Liverpool

Although the Reds are about to sign Lallana, Brendan Rodgers is apparently very keen on securing 20-year-old Serbian Lazar Markovic from Benfica as well.

3) Esteban Cambiasso – Inter Milan to Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring the experienced Argentine to White Hart Lane to provide grit in midfield, and as he’s available on a free transfer, there shouldn’t be anything to stop this transfer from happening.

2) Sven Bender – Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal

The German has publicly declared that he’d like to move to England, and with his price fee that at a reported affordable £15m, it seems like Bender might be the perfect option for Arsene Wenger in his search for a combative, battling midfielder.

1) Divock Origi – Lille to Liverpool

The only teenager to score at this summer’s World Cup so far, Origi is also a target for Tottenham, but Liverpool are heavy favourites to sign the talented 19-year-old attacker – having already agreed a small fee for his services. He will provide excellent competition for Raheem Sterling, and his signing will likely be finalised following the World Cup.
