10 Deals That Will Be Completed In the Final 48 Hours of the Summer Transfer Window Including Arsenal Pair & Chelsea Striker Signing

Ten moves that we feel are certain to be done and dusted by the time the transfer window closes on Monday evening.

Daley Blind
From: Ajax
To: Man United
Price: £14m

A deal is all but completed with Louis van Gaal set to welcome in his former Dutch national team charge and in doing so will provide a great deal of strength in depth to his Man United squad. The 24 year old will offer Louis van Gaal a number of options and add some much needed strength in depth to his squad.

Danny Welbeck
From: Man United
To: Tottenham
Price: £16m

Louis van Gaal is keen to sell the England man and White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino is known to be keen on landing the 23 year old with a deal to bring Welbeck to north London seeming very likely indeed. The Man United man had his best season to date, netting nine goals in 15 Premier League starts, but seems certain to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Tom Cleverley
From: Man United
To: Aston Villa
Price: £8m

By all accounts former Man United man Roy Keane, now assistant manager to Paul Lambert, is looking to persuade the England man to move to Villa Park and it’s a move that we feel is likely to occur. The 25 year old had a horrific season last term and is not likely to see much action under Louis van Gaal and though a move to Aston Villa may surprise some it would offer Cleverley the chance to be a big fish in a relatively ‘small pond’ and offer him a fresh start.

Loic Remy
From: QPR
To: Chelsea
Price: £8m

Chelsea have apparently already agreed to meet the 27 year old’s release clause as Jose Mourinho seeks to strenghten his attack having seen summer signing Diego Costa ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos
From: Borussia Dortmund
To: Arsenal
Price: £15m

Arsene Wenger is keen on bringing in another central defensive option and will handily use the £15m made from the sale of Thomas Vermaelen to Barcelona by landing adaptable Greek international Papastathopoulos. The 26 year old can also be used at right-back and will provide handy competition to Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker.

Javier Hernandez
From: Man United
To: Juventus
Price: £10m

Whilst Man United’s move to sign long term target Arturo Vidal may be set to fail but we can still see Mexican international Hernandez moving to the Italian side. Chicharito is a player Louis van Gaal is looking to sell and a deal is likely before the transfer window closes. The 26 year old has netted 59 goals in 154 appearances, of which 69 were from the bench, and is too good a player to be wasting away on the bench.

Marouane Fellaini
From: Man United
To: Napoli
Price: £4m (Loan Fee)

Another Man United star who isn’t wanted by Louis van Gaal and Napoli are keen, though not keen enough to fork out a massive sum to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis but a loan deal is in the offing. The 26 year old Belgian is not as bad as his performances over the past year would have you suggest and despite an injury we can see a deal being struck.

Jordan Rhodes
From: Blackburn Rovers
To: Hull City
Price: £14m

Having failed with previous bids we can see Steve Bruce getting his man before the transfer window closes as the Scottish international is sure to want to secure a move to the Premier League. The Championship goal machine is certainly capable of making an impact in the top tier.

Shinji Kagawa
From: Man United
To: Borussia Dortmund
Price: £6.3m

Yet another talent who is on his way to the Old Trafford exit and a move back to Borussia Dortmund is an almost certain transfer, with a £6.3m deal said to have been agreed with the 25 year old accepting terms on a four year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.

William Carvalho
From: Sporting Lisbon
To: Arsenal
Price: £24m

The Portuguese international has been strongly linked with a summer move to Arsenal for some weeks and Sporting Lisbon’s asking price has gradually reduced and as such Arsene Wenger appears ready to make a tangible offer as he looks to bring in some much needed steel to his Gunners midfield.
