Van Gaal won his first competitive game as United boss in yesterday’s game against QPR
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants to win the Premier League title after his side won their first game of the campaign yesterday, thrashing QPR 4-0, the Daily Star reports.

Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrera both scored their first goals for the Red Devils while Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata added a 3rd and a 4th.
After such a big win, the Dutchman announced that he is looking to bring the Premier League title back to Old Trafford with his new look side.
“I want to win the Premier League title,” he said.
“If it is not this year then the second or third year. I want to give a championship to the fans.”
United’s performance yesterday was full of free flowing attacking football and van Gaal insisted that his side will continue to play the same way throughout his reign.
“My teams are always focused on attack, but it is not our focus, that is to be in the first three,” he added. “The most important thing is the trajectory.
We have always to analyse what we have done. The result is fantastic, but we can get much better.”
Van Gaal spent nearly £150 million on new signings this summer and many of them have made an instant impact with Angel Di Maria being United’s star player against QPR while Daley Blind and Ander Herrera also put in impressive performances.
