Here are eleven of the most coveted youngsters in Europe, according to Eurosport:

11) Martin Odegaard – Stromsgodset

The Norwegian starlet became the youngest player in European Championship history when he made an appearance against Bulgaria aged just 15 years and 300 days.

Already being scouted by a number of top European clubs, the youngster so far seems to think he needs more time to develop at current club Stromsgodset.

10) Munir El Haddadi – Barcelona

Arguably one of Barcelona’s hottest prospects at the moment, the 19-year-old has managed to break into the first team this season due to the lengthy ban of summer signing Luis Suarez.

Once the Uruguayan returns he may struggle slightly more for game time, but the Catalan giants will be reluctant to let him move on any time soon.

9) Marquinhos – PSG

The Brazilian centre back has already made a number of high profile moves in his burgeoning career. First making the switch from Corinthians to Roma, before making a massive  €31.4 move to PSG just a year later.

Still just 20-years-old, he is currently the third choice centre back at the French club, so may be looking for first team football elsewhere soon.

8) Raphael Varane – Real Madrid

The 21-year-old defender is certainly a future great, but just like Marquinhos he is currently the third choice at current club Real Madrid.

There are a number of other top clubs waiting in the wind if he decides to look for an exit from the Bernabeu, but a player of his promise will surely cost a fortune.

7) Paul Pogba – Juventus

Despite Sir Alex Ferguson’s protests, Pogba was somehow allowed to leave Manchester United on a free in 2012.

He has steadily grown into one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the world while at Juventus, and is expected to leave this summer if the right offer comes in for him.

6) Julian Draxler – Schalke

A long term target for Premier League side Arsenal, Draxler looked certain to leave Schalke on a number of occasions in the last two seasons.

Already a World Cup winner at just 21-years-old, the German international is surely set for far bigger things than he can achieve while at Schalke.

5) Lucas Digne – PSG

The 21-year-old made a somewhat shock switch to PSG in 2013, but with a number of players ahead of him in the pecking order he has struggled for first team football since joining.

After a relatively short spell in the French capital the left-back may be on the move soon if he becomes disillusioned with life on the bench.

4) Viktor Fischer – Ajax

Fischer has looked extremely promising rising through the ranks of the famed Ajax youth system. At just 20-years-old he has already made 47 appearances for the senior side, as well scoring 13 goals from the left-wing.

Also a full Denmark international, he is certainly destined for bigger and better things.

3) Sergi Samper – Barcelona

Currently playing for Barcelona B, the 19-year-old may struggle to break into the full team with the likes of Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic ahead of him.

Definitely one to look out for though, and a possible bargain for someone if they can snap him up early.

2) Seung-Woo Lee – Barcelona

Another gem of the Barcelona academy, the 16-year-old lit up the AFC U16 Championship, causing a number of clubs around the world to sit up and take notice.

At such a young age it’s difficult to tell how he will turn out, but he is certainly looking like an unbelievable talent.

1) Kurt Zouma – Chelsea

19-year-old defender Kurt Zouma made the switch to Chelsea this year, having already become one of the most promising centre-backs in the world with former club Saint-Etienne.

With John Terry heading towards the twilight of his career, Zouma could very soon find himself in the first team fold for the Premier League side.
