Carlo Ancelotti 100% Sure That Manchester United Target Cristiano Ronaldo Will Retire At Real Madrid

Real manager believes that Ronaldo is going nowhere.

Manchester United fans hoping that former club superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will be returning to Old Trafford have been dealt a massive blow, report the Mail, with Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti saying that he is “100% sure” that the Portuguese forward will be going nowhere and will end his career at the Bernabeu.

Reports have gathered pace this summer to suggest that Ronaldo is becoming frustrated at the Bernabeu and would be interested in returning to United, the club where he made his name after joining from Sporting Lisbon, but he recently signed a lucrative new deal at the Bernabeu and Real will do everything they can to cling onto a player who they see as the best in the world.

Ronaldo has already roared clear at the top of the goalscoring charts in La Liga ahead of next week’s showdown with bitter rivals Barcelona – and Ancelotti believes that this season certainly won’t be Ronaldo’s last in the club’s famous white shirts:

“But this won’t happen. Because Ronaldo will go to the end of his career at Real Madrid. I’m 100 per cent certain he will be here next season not at Manchester United — 100 per cent.”

The Italian, who won the Champions League with Real last season and also has two Premier League titles with Chelsea under his belt, was also keen to stress that the relationship between the club and their key player remains a good one after some reports this summer had suggested that Ronaldo had grown frustrated with life in the Spanish capital:

“He’s happy here, he’s loved here by everyone. It’s a perfect relationship at this moment so I don’t think it will change. Ronaldo will finish his career here.”
