Five Chelsea Wonderkids Who Will Feature This Season
Tottenham target Berahino
GK) Petr Cech – 7
Had little to do, but saved a header from a corner in the first half that could have changed the course of the game had it gone in.
RB) Andreas Christensen – 6.5
A solid debut for the youngster, who didn’t get forward much, unsurprising as a centre-back playing on the right.
CB) Gary Cahill – 6.5
Solid for most of the game, not challenged much. Will be disappointed that his side conceded from a corner.
CB) Kurt Zouma – 6.5
Another decent game for the youngster without a huge amount to do.
LB) Filipe Luis – 6
Showed willingness to get forward, without much end product.
CM) Jon Obi Mikel – 5
Slowed the game down in midfield and should have made a better effort at clearing the ball to prevent Shrewsbury scoring.
CM) Nathan Ake – 6
Solid game from the youngster, who showed a lack of discipline in picking up a yellow for a revenge-tackle in the first half.
AM) Oscar – 6
Bright moments, but clearly jaded after playing on Sunday.
LW) André Schurrle – 4
Poor game from the German, who missed countless chances and just can’t seem to perform consistently.
ST) Didier Drogba – 8
Battled the Shrewsbury back three single handedly and made the vital chance count.
RW) Mohammed Salah – 5
Assisted Drogba’s goal but otherwise poor, shaking several shots into the stands.
