There is already a pattern emerging this season to suggest who the crucial goal scorers will be over the course of the Premier League season. Below is a list of the seven players with the best percentage of important goals for their sides. By ‘important’ we mean players with over five strikes for their side that have scored goals that were either equalisers or goals that gave their side the lead.

7. Diafra Sakho – West Ham United

The Hammers new boy has made an indelible mark on Sam Allardyce’s boys, and has been a key figure to their tremendous start this season. Despite being a midfield player he has already chipped in with six goals from seven games, though the team face an acid test now as they prepare to be without him for the next month.
