The Red Devils were interested in the player in the summer, but he ended up moving to Porto. United will be hoping that moving so recently doesn’t make the transfer impossible.
Martins Indi certainly seems interested in joining up with his former manager, saying, “Spiritually I still have contact with van Gaal. I think about him and I think he also thinks about me.”

The 29-year-old wants to see out his contract and maybe extend it for a few more years. This would leave him too old for a move back to the Premier League.
He said, “I hope to stay at Real Madrid until the end of my contract when I’m 33 and we’ll see if the president wants to extend it for a few more years.”
Arturo Vidal move fell through due to injury problems

The 27-year-old missed the World Cup with a knee injury, and Giuseppe Marotta believes that is why he never made the move to England.
