Western Sydney Wanderers return to A-League action in round five following their AFC Champions League heroics over the past two weekends.

Tony Popovic’s side lost its first two games of the season and currently sit on the bottom of the table and will be looking to turn things around with a tough trip away to Wellington.

The Wanderers can now call upon Matthew Spiranovic and Nikita Rukavytsya, but will miss Brendon Santalab who will undergo shoulder surgery on Friday.

After two wins in a row the Phoenix were comfortably beaten 2-0 by an understrength Melbourne Victory side on Monday, but Ernie Merrick’s side are a different proposition at home.
