Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is well known for his fondness in bringing through the world’s best young talent, and recent reports suggest he could be about to splash the cash on three of the finest ‘wonderkids’ on the market at the moment.

The Gunners have not made the best of starts to this season and could do with strengthening in January, and it may be that Wenger will look to inject some youth into his squad to challenge some of his more experienced under-performers for their places in his starting lineup.
Other big clubs are also chasing these players, so it may be that Arsenal will struggle to bring them all in, but recent transfer speculation suggests that these three highly exciting young players are on the club’s radar and could be on their way to the Emirates Stadium in the next few months:
3) Talisca (Benfica)
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal are among the clubs chasing £35m-rated Benfica youngster Talisca. The 20-year-old striker has been in fine form for the club’s first-team this season and already looks cut out for a move to a bigger club, with Chelsea and Manchester United also said to be monitoring his situation.
2) Goncalo Guedes (Benfica)
In another raid on Benfica, Arsenal are also keen to sign 17-year-old wonderkid Goncalo Guedes in a potential £40m deal. The teenage talent has been compared with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, and Arsene Wenger is keen to push a deal through for this January, according to the Daily Mail.
1) Julian Draxler (Schalke)
Finally, the Metro claims that a long-term target for Arsenal is back on the Gunners’ radar this January as they plot a £37m move for superb Schalke starlet Julian Draxler. The German playmaker is also wanted by Manchester United this season after his highly impressive displays in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
