The goalless draw gives the minnows a record of W1, D3, L119, and sparked celebrations at full-time following their first point in the competition.

They had scored just a solitary goal in their last 15 games, while conceding a massive 72 times. The clean sheet was enough to earn them the draw this time however, with Estonia failing to take their chances.

The microstate boasts a population of just over 32,000, and has a team made up almost exclusively of part time footballers.

They were beaten 5-0 by England in October, and unsurprisingly sit bottom of Group E.

San Marino can no longer say that they have never won a point in European competition, a feat only Andorra and Gibraltar can claim.
