GK: Wojciech Szczesny

With Arsenal supposedly targeting Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech this January, Wojciech Szczesny could make way as he hasn’t progressed as hoped when he first broke through as a youngster.

Arsenal transfers

DR: Francis Coquelin

A decent enough utlitity player, but one who doesn’t look like having the qualities to take Arsenal forward after failing for a long time to break into the side.

DC: Nacho Monreal

Linked with Athletic Bilbao, the under-performing Nacho Monreal could also be on his way out of the club in the near future.

DL: Mathieu Flamini

Once a top player for Arsenal, but one who looks past his best this season and not of the required standard to run the midfield engine room.

DM: Abou Diaby

An incredibly injury prone player who is somehow still on the books at the Emirates Stadium, Abou Diaby needs to be shown the door.

DM: Mikel Arteta

In what looks like a mistake as the player chosen as club captain this season, Mikel Arteta has been well below par and looks past his best in an Arsenal shirt. Recently linked with Real Sociedad.

MR: Theo Walcott

Another ludicrously injury-prone player, Theo Walcott could bring in a decent amount of money and may be worth offloading at this point.

ML: Lukas Podolski

Not deemed good enough to play regularly this season, Lukas Podolski has been linked with a number of clubs and seems likely to leave this January.

AMC: Tomas Rosicky

An older member of the squad with little to offer now even from the bench, Tomas Rosicky’s Arsenal career is surely nearing an end.

FC: Yaya Sanogo

A young striker who looks like becoming a total flop, Yaya Sanogo simply does not look good enough for this level and needs to be shifted.

FC: Joel Campbell

A decent young player but not one good enough to play as often as he wants, leading to speculation that he is likely to move on this winter.
