Liverpool & Man United Target Yohan Cabaye Has £19m Asking Price

It seems as though the Frenchman could be on his way back to the Premier League after an unhappy 12 months in Paris.

Yohan Cabaye could be available for as little as £19m, according to reports in France.

The midfielder, who moved to Paris Saint-Germain from Newcastle United last January for a similar sum, has been unable to break into the side ahead of players like Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi and is now apparently keen on a return to the Premier League.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all listed by the Express, who report the story, as potential destinations, but any club would be interest in a player with such proven Premier League pedigree.

The £19m fee that has been suggested could almost definitely be undercut too. It seems dear for a player who must have lost some value in the last 12 months, as he’s aged and barely played.

Cabaye would be a perfect signing for the Gunners, especially with Jack Wilshere now facing a further spell on the sidelines. The Frenchman has great ability on the ball, as well as a steely streak. His set-piece skills would be an added bonus.

Man United are also short in midfield, with Daley Blind out with a long term injury, and Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher coming to the end of their careers.
