Here are the results.

4. Wayne Rooney, Manchester United – 19%

The Red Devils captain is just edged into fourth position, but if he can rediscover the form for his club that he has been showing for England in recent times there’s no reason he couldn’t creep further up this list.

3. Diego Costa, Chelsea – 20%

Has made a real impression on the English top tier following his £32m summer switch from Atletico Madrid and the 26-year-old already has 10 league goals and is a serious contender for the Golden Boot.

2. Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal – 27%

Not really an out-and-out striker this Chile international has been moved to a more central role by manager Arsene Wenger than he was used to at previous club FC Barcelona and Sanchez’s eight league goals to date is an impressive haul.

1. Sergio Aguero, Manchester City – 34%

After his hat-trick heroics against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday it’s little surprise to see this Argentine topping the list and Aguero also leads the league’s scoring charts currently with 11.
