Here are six players who manager Brendan Rodgers could bring in to the club to replace the Belgian in the January transfer window.

Neto, Fiorentina

The Brazilian keeper has been linked to Liverpool for a long time now, and the most recent link is from the Metro. As the 25-year-old is out of contract in the summer he will be available cheaply, and is also young enough to be a long term replacement.

Guillermo Ochoa, Málaga

The Mexico international only moved to current club Malaga in the summer, but is apparently available again according to the Mirror. One of the stars of the World Cup, he would be a great signing for the Reds.

Petr Cech, Chelsea

It isn’t often that a world class keeper becomes available at such a cheap price, so this would probably be the best the move Brendan Rodgers could make. The Metro have said that the Anfield club could go for it.

Asmir Begovic, Stoke City

He hasn’t been having the best of seasons for the Potters, but Begovic is still a fairly reliable Premier League proven keeper. He would cost them £10 million according to the Mirror.

Mattia Perin, Genoa

Dubbed the “new Gianluigi Buffon” by the media, Perin was linked to the Merseyside club back in November. Only 21-years-old and already an Italy international, the youngster would be an amazing signing but would apparently cost upwards of £16 million.

Kiko Casilla, Espanyol

The Spaniard made his international debut a few weeks ago, and is thought to be one of the best keepers in La Liga. Liverpool’s interest has been revealed by the Express.
