The immensely talented 19-year-old made his first-team breakthrough at Old Trafford last season during Moyes’ time in charge of the club, though his career has stalled somewhat this season since the appointment of new manager Louis van Gaal.

Januzaj has mostly found himself on the bench this season after the arrival of a number of big-name attacking midfielders at United this summer, such as Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrera.

Still, the teenager remains a highly regarded talent at the club and could be loaned out to gain some valuable first-team experience this winter, with Sociedad looking like a possible destination for him as he may find himself reunited with Moyes.

The Scot would love to put his own stamp on his squad with the Basque outfit, and Januzaj would no doubt add some quality and creativity in the midfield department.
