Arsenal exorcised their Britannia Stadium demons with a convincing displays – goals from Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud put them in control before a late one from Marko Arnautovic.
Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Crystal Palace
Spurs were shocked at White Hart Lane by a dogged Crystal Palace side, who actually fell behind to a goal from Erik Lamela. The visitors rallied and stole the points through a Mile Jedinak penalty and late Yannick Bolasie winner.
Manchester City 3-0 Everton
Everton simply didn’t close to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium as goals from Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Martin Demichelis made it a comfortable afternoon for Manuel Pellegrini and his side.
West Ham United 1-0 Swansea City
A dull game at Upton Park was settled by a magic moment from Enner Valencia, who smashed home from thirty yards to seal the points.
Aston Villa 4-1 Leicester City
Leicester put up very little resistance to Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa outfit in the West Midlands, with Christian Benteke scoring a sublime hat-trick before Tom Cleverley put the icing on the cake. Leonardo Ulloa scored the for the Foxes.
Southampton 0-4 Manchester United
It was a thrashing for Southampton at St. Mary’s against the might of Manchester United, with Radamel Falcao scoring twice before Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera added some gloss to the scoreline.
