Real Madrid Legend Zinedine Zidane Reveals Stunning 2014 Dream XI: Only Two Premier League Players Make The Cut!

The midfield maestro showed off what he considers to be the best team from the past year.

In an interview with Canal Plus (as reported here), legendary footballer Zinedine Zidane has revealed his ideal XI from the past 12 months, including plenty of star names from his current employers Real Madrid.

That’s perhaps not surprising given that Madrid won La Decima, and there are a few Bayern Munich players on the bench, presumably as a nod to Germany’s World Cup win.

The fact that there’s not a single Atletico Madrid player in the squad at all is probably explained by the historic rivalry between the clubs; although it does seem churlish considering Atleti won La Liga while working on a fraction of Real’s budget.
