The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea all look set to keep on spending after busy summers in the transfer market, and that could see plenty of exciting arrivals make their way to the Premier League.

According to various recent reports and speculation, these are just 15 of the biggest names from abroad being linked with English clubs this winter…

15) Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)

Linked strongly with a big-money move to Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is undoubtedly one of the biggest names seemingly on the market this winter and one of the most expensive players who could be bought by a Premier League club.

14) Gerard Pique (Barcelona)

Although this rumour has died down a little of late, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has been linked with both Chelsea and Manchester United this season and has not always been a regular starter at the Nou Camp since the appointment of new manager Luis Enrique in the summer.

13) Miranda (Atletico Madrid)

A world class defender who has been unfortunate to lose his place in the Atletico Madrid team this season, Miranda is now being strongly tipped to make the move to Manchester United in the January transfer window, in what could prove a superb signing in defence for Louis van Gaal.

12) Fabio Coentrao (Real Madrid)

Having failed to command a regular place in the Real Madrid starting lineup this season, Portuguese left-back Fabio Coentrao is now a possible target for Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United this January.

11) Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan)

A superb young striker currently impressing for Inter Milan, it is thought that Mauro Icardi is a target for Chelsea this winter and that the Argentine himself also wants to seal a move to Stamford Bridge, despite whispers of interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur as well.

10) Paulo Dybala (Palermo)

One of the brightest young prospects in Europe at the moment, Palermo striker Paulo Dybala has been superb this season and is now being targeted by Arsenal in a big-money January transfer.

9) Mattia Destro (AS Roma)

Not content with his situation with AS Roma, promising young Italian striker Mattia Destro has been linked with a switch to the Premier League, alerting the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

A player who has struggled since moving to Paris Saint-Germain from Newcastle United last January, Yohan Cabaye is now seeking a return to England and has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, who could all do with midfielders.

7) Mario Mandzukic (Atletico Madrid)

Despite only joining Atletico Madrid from Bayern Munich this summer, Croatian target man Mario Mandzukic is already being linked with an exit and is supposedly a target for Manchester City as they seek reinforcements to their injury-hit frontline.

A highly prolific striker in Portugal, Jackson Martinez’s fine form for Porto has seen him become a top transfer target for both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool this January.

Wanted by both Arsenal and Liverpool, it is thought that the Gunners currently lead the chase for £26m-rated Barcelona winger Pedro, who is another Nou Camp star possibly set to be axed by Luis Enrique this season.

After some superb form to establish himself as one of Europe’s best wingers last season, Juan Cuadrado has reportedly put Manchester United on alert this January as he seeks an exit from current club Fiorentina to secure a bigger move.

Long regarded as one of the best central defenders in the world, Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels is believed to be one of Manchester United’s priority targets for this January as they seek to improve at the back.

One of the best creative midfield players in Europe, Atletico Madrid starlet Koke has been strongly linked with a big-money move to either Chelsea, Manchester City or Manchester United in recent times.

1) Kevin Strootman (AS Roma)

After months of speculation, it does look like AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman will now make his way to Manchester United in the January transfer window, despite also being linked with rivals Chelsea.
