Possibly available for a bargain £10m this January, FC Basel defender Fabian Schar is being linked with Arsenal this winter and could be an important signing at centre-back.

Although West Ham are said to be asking for £20m, it seems likely that Arsenal could get another great signing in defence for closer to £15m this January, with the New Zealand international out of contract next summer.
