GK: Neto (Fiorentina)

Brazilian showstopper coming to the end of his contract in the summer with Liverpool supposedly keen, would certainly be a better option than the flapping Mignolet.

RB: Jon Flanagan

Key part of the squad during the Reds title charge and should work his way back into the side to compete next season.

CB: Emre Can

With Brendan Rodgers openly admitting he’s attempting to adapt the German’s skills to a more defensive role, given time Can could develop into an awesome centre back option and will put Dejan Lovren to shame.

CB: Martin Skrtel

His no-nonsense approach has seen him take the mantle of defensive stalwart after the sale of Daneil Agger.

LB: Alberto Moreno

Struggled at times but there is clearly potential there and could be an incredible full back come his second season at Anfield.

CM: Jordan Henderson

Henderson seems to have finally established himself as one of Liverpool’s best midfielders after struggling for consistency after his move from Sunderland 3 years ago.

RAM: Philippe Coutinho

The Brazilian edges out more defensive options in this very attacking line-up and would have to be willing to do more of the dirty work in the middle of the field

LAM: Rahemm Sterling (New Contract)

With the news Sterling could be about to pen a new Anfield deal, the exciting England winger will no doubt be driving force behind this exciting and aggressive Liverpool XI.

RW: Divock Origi (On-loan at Lille)

With Origi on the wings Liverpool would have a rapid and interchangeable front three who, if they couldn’t hoodwink their markers with their immense skills, would almost certainly be too quick to stop.

Could return even in January with L’Equipe claiming the Reds want him back at Anfield

CF: Daniel Sturrdige

He’s been sorely missed this season but once he puts his injury demons behind him Liverpool will surely start their ascent up the table.

LW: Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion)

The West Brom man is still young but there’s no doubting his immense potential with some stand-out displays this season which have got Liverpool licking their lips.

His reported £20 million price tag may, however, have fallen victim to the dreaded England nationality mark-up.
