Arsenal transfer news

The transfer window is well and truly up and running, and these seven names are all involved in transfer sagas which are expected to run all the way until January 31st.

How many of them will complete moves…?

Xherdan Shaqiri – Bayern Munich

Not wanted at Bayern, desperately chased by Liverpool, Inter Milan and Juventus. He’s likely to end up at one of them and the English side has already made a €14m bid.

Winston Reid – West Ham

Manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that the Kiwi will not renew his contract, and most Premier League clubs would be mad not to consider trying to sign him – either this January or on a free in the summer.

Ezequiel Lavezzi – PSG

Fined and dropped by PSG, and surely available. Liverpool have bee linked, but a heap of clubs will likely be interested.

Edinson Cavani – PSG

One of the world’s most feared strikers has been linked with a monster move to Arsenal after a fallout with his club. If he moves, his transfer could eclipse January’s biggest ever transfer: Fernando Torres to Chelsea for £50m back in 2011.

Sami Khedira – Real Madrid

Khedira is available on a free, having still not signed an extension at Real Madrid. He’s world-class, and won a Champions League and a World Cup in 2014. Will Khedira move to the Premier League…?

Saido Berahino – West Brom

The young forward could be the most expensive Englishman on the move this month. Liverpool and Spurs have both been linked with a £24m transfer… Is he worth it?

Hugo Lloris – Tottenham

Real Madrid are stepping up their chase for one of the best goalkeepers in the world. A £25m fee has been mooted, and it’s a saga that will likely run and run – as Los Blancos normally secure Tottenham players when they fancy them.
