The La Liga giants have ruled out any swap move involving the keeper and Gareth Bale with the Old Trafford outfit having been rumoured to be interested in a deal involving the Welshman.

Meanwhile, De Gea has arguably been the best player at the Mancunian side this year, with his unbelievable form meaning that their shaky back line is not punished in the way it probably should.

Happily for United fans their goalie apparently wants to stay with the club, but just wants to get the best contract he can.

At the same time Real Madrid are not desperate to buy a new stopper, with both Iker Casillas and Keylor Navas available to Carlo Ancelotti.
