The Fiorentina man has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge heavily this week, including reports by Sky Sports.

However, with the Blues flying in all competitions it is debatable that they even need the player who impressed so much at the 2014 World Cup.

Murphy has mirrored these concerns and doesn’t know where the Colombian could fit in to Jose Mourinho’s side.

Willian is already holding down the 26-year-old’s favoured right wing position and it is difficult to see the Brazilian being dislodged too easily.

“He’s quick, has good close control and goes past people really easily,” Murphy told the Colin Murray show on talkSPORT.

“He’s a real pacey threat and nicks a goal, but I’m still not sure where he’d get in [Chelsea’s] team.”

Cuadrado scored on Wednesday night in a 3-1 Coppa Italia win against Atalanta, and has been impressing for most of the current campaign with the Serie A side.

He has made 21 appearances for La Viola this season, scoring six times and grabbing four assists. His manager Vincenzo Montella has claimed that he will not be leaving the Italian side, as reported by talkSPORT.
