Iraq overcame Iran against the odds in their quarter-final clash in the 2015 Asian Cup after a 3-3 thriller in ordinary time.

Sardar Azmoun gave the Iranians the lead before they had Mehrdad Paloudi sent off for a debatable second yellow card just before half-time.

In the second the goals flowed, with the Iraqis taking a 2-1 lead through Ahmed Yasin and Younis Mahmoud Khalef, but things ended at 3-3 after 120 minutes.
