Below we analyse ten rumoured transfers and discuss how likely there are to come off before the end of the month:

10) Gareth Bale (Real Madrid to Manchester United)

The world’s most expensive player has found his place in the Madrid team under threat in recent weeks, with rumours of a possible bust-up with Cristiano Ronaldo. It has been suggested that Real could be willing to sell if United keeper David de Gea is included as part of the deal.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 2/10

9) Joel Campbell (Arsenal to Real Sociedad)

Campbell has had to make do with a bit-part role in the team so far this season. The Costa Rican is well accustomed to going out on loan and it has been rumoured that he could do so again, with David Moyes’ side interested in taking him to Spain.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 7/10

8) Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton to Manchester United)

The England international has been in fine form so far this season, playing a starring role in Southampton’s run to third place in the current Premier League standings. United are desperate for defensive reinforcements, but could have to wait until the summer for any progress here.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 3/10

7) Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion to Liverpool)

One of the highest rated young English talents going, Berahino has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool for much of the season. However, the rumours have died down in recent weeks, following the appointment of Tony Pulis at the Hawthorns, so this one is in the balance.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 5/10

6) Darren Fletcher (Manchester United to West Ham United)

The long-serving Scotsman hasn’t had much of a look in at Old Trafford so far this season, despite being appointed as the club’s vice-captain by Louis van Gaal at the start of the season. There is every chance he could be allowed to leave as the Dutchman clears out some deadwood.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 8/10

5) Fabian Delph (Aston Villa to Liverpool)

Villa have reduced their asking price on the England international midfielder to £4m as they look to force through a sale before the close of the window. Paul Lambert would prefer to keep him until the end of the season, but the club can’t afford to let him go for nothing in the summer.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 6/10

4) Andre Schurrle (Chelsea to Wolfsburg)

This deal hangs on Chelsea signing a suitable replacement for the German World Cup winner, who has struggled for form at Stamford Bridge so far this season. Jose Mourinho has repeatedly suggested Schurrle won’t be on the way out – but that could change if a new signing comes in.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 4/10

3) Gabriel Paulista (Villarreal to Arsenal)

This one looks pretty much done and dusted, with Paulista reportedly having bid farewell to his teammates and the club’s supporters. A work permit looks to be the only thing that keeps this deal from being completed, with the Gunners looking to come up with a decisive arrangement.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 9/10

2) Juan Cuadrado (Fiorentina to Chelsea)

Chelsea would certainly be interested in signing the versatile Colombian wide-man, but need to sell before they can buy. Cuadrado has a £26m buy-out clause in his contract, but the Blues are only willing to offer around £20m for the South American star.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 5/10

1) Ezequiel Lavezzi (Paris Saint Germain to Liverpool)

PSG are eager to sell after growing frustrated with the Argentine international while Liverpool are long-term admirers of the player. However, their interest has waned after a series of misdemeanours from the player in the French capital.

Transfer Likelihood Rating: 4/10
