5) Chelsea 1-2 Sunderland
With Chelsea’s title hopes already on the brink last season, Mourinho’s side really slipped up here as relegation-threatened Sunderland snatched a scrappy win at Stamford Bridge courtesy of a late penalty from their former reserve player Fabio Borini.

4) Tottenham 5-3 Chelsea
A very recent bad memory for Chelsea fans here…despite the Blues’ strong record against Tottenham, they were all over the place defensively in this game as they conceded five to Harry Kane and co.
3) Borussia Dortmund 4-1 Real Madrid
A famous night as Robert Lewandowski scored all four to down Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals. The Pole was terrific against Mourinho’s confidence-ridden team and all but ended their hopes of making the final at the end of the first leg.
2) Barcelona 5-0 Real Madrid
An unbelievable result at the time given Mourinho’s record of strong defensive teams, his Real Madrid side were absolutely battered by rivals Barcelona at the Nou Camp, and Messi didn’t even score that day…
1) Chelsea 2-4 Bradford City
According to the man himself, this latest setback is Mourinho’s worst result of his career. Chelsea took a 2-0 lead against Bradford in what should’ve been a stroll in the park, but they capitulated in the second half as they were dumped out of the competition in just the fourth round.
