Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the verge of signing England youth international Dele Alli from MK Dons.

Here is all you need to know about the teenage midfielder…

Alli was born in Milton Keynes on April 11, 1996.

He joined MK Dons aged seven, having spent his early years with City Colts FC.

Alli’s first-team debut for the Dons came when he was just 16. He replaced Jay O’Shea as a substitute in a 0-0 FA Cup draw with Cambridge City in November 2010.

He made his first start in the replay against Cambridge, scoring a goal in a 6-1 win.

To date, Alli has made 75 senior appearances for the Dons, scoring 20 goals.

Despite still being a teenager, Alli already has a very powerful physique. He is tall – 6ft 2in to be precise – and he is one of the fastest players at Stadium mk.

Alli is also very talented technically – his passing, dribbling and long shots are impressive, while his off-the-ball movement also deserves recognition.

So far this season, Alli has scored 12 goals, provided four assists and picked up six yellow cards.

Alli has represented England at three different youth levels – Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18. In total, he has been capped 15 times.

Aston Villa, Liverpool and Newcastle United have all been linked with interest in Alli in the past 12 months.
