The Metro reports that the Gunners want to sign the Italian midfielder as Arsene Wenger looks to strengthen his midfield this summer.

The Gunners would most definitely face competition from Italian champions Juventus, according to the Daily Star, whilst the Metro also claim that Real Madrid are interested in acquiring his services.

However, the move would no doubt be a difficult one to complete as, despite uncertainties over his future, the PSG man just recently signed a new five year deal meaning any proposed move would certainly be pricey.

The 22 year old is a key figure for the Ligue 1 champions having made 16 starts in the league this season and a further four from the bench.

The central midfielder would likely be a perfect candidate for the North London club who have been continually looking to strengthen their soft centre despite recent revelation Francis Coquelin signing a new deal after a string of excellent performances.
