Mourinho is ready to allow Loic Remy and Didier Drogba to leave the club this summer, with neither player being much more than bit-part players, with the West London side having identified two big money additions.

Chelsea are ready to launch a £21m move for West Ham attacker Enner Valencia, the Ecuadorian having impressed since moving to Upton Park last summer, and the Stamford Bridge side have also set their sights on AFC Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson.

The 22 year old is rated at £15m, his 15 goals helping Eddie Howe’s side to challenge for promotion to the Premier League, though one wonders if the Blues would make such an offer for a relatively inexperienced performer.

Chelsea have been heavily reliant on Diego Costa as a goal-scoring force, the Spanish international bagging 17 Premier League goals this season, though the likes of Eden Hazard and Oscar have provided support of sorts.

Mourinho opted to sell Andre Schurrle and loan out Mohamed Salah, to Wolfsburg and Fiorentina respectively, before bringing in Juan Cuadrado to boost his options in the final third.
