After drawing 1-1 with Fiorentina in the Europa League manager Mauricio Pochettino will be even more keen for a win in this one and a number of rested players from that tie are expected to return – including a certain in-form striker.

GK – Hugo Lloris

Among the best goalkeepers in the entire division the form of the Frenchman could well determine whether Spurs make the top four or not this season.

RB – Kyle Walker

Fully fit after a long-term injury and has established himself once again as the first choice right-back.

CB – Eric Dier

Federico Fazio played midweek, but we expect Pochettino to bring Dier back into the starting XI in a bid to shore things up at the back.

CB – Jan Vertonghen

Needs to organise the back line and will come up against a West Ham attack that have looked good this term.

LB – Danny Rose

Ben Davies played in Europe – as has become common pace this campaign – but Rose is the preferred left-back in the league.

CM – Ryan Mason

Has broken into the first team under Pochettino and after being rested against Fiorentina, Mason should resume his role in midfield.

CM – Nabil Bentaleb

Made his name under Tim Sherwood in 2013/14 and has continued that good work this time around.

RM – Erik Lamela

Came off the bench against La Viola, but has been a mainstay in domestic competitions and is finally showing glimpses of why Tottenham paid £30m for his services.

CAM – Christian Eriksen

The creative spark that makes things happen and the Denmark international is also useful for a goal or two as well.

LM – Mousa Dembele

Another who sat the Europa League tie and should return to the starting XI.

ST – Harry Kane

There are few in better form in European football than this impressive 21-year-old, with Kane having scored 23 goals in all competition to date and will be looking to add to that against the Hammers.
