Chelsea transfer rumours

GK: Hugo Lloris

One of the finest goalkeepers in the Premier League this season, the Frenchman is narrowly in ahead of Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois, who has not always been as convincing despite having a better defence in front of him.

DR: Branislav Ivanovic

An easy one at right-back, with Branislav Ivanovic in superb form for Chelsea this season and one of the best defenders in Europe altogether.

DL: Cesar Azpilicueta

Highly impressive for Chelsea when changing to left-back last season, Cesar Azpilicueta has made the position his own again this term despite the arrival of Filipe Luis in the summer.

DC: John Terry

Still perhaps the best central defender in the country, John Terry is easily in ahead of any of Tottenham’s defensive players this season.

DC: Gary Cahill

Likewise, Gary Cahill has been a rock for the Blues this term in a superb centre-back partnership with Terry.

DM: Nemanja Matic

A huge loss through suspension for the final at Wembley, but Nemanja Matic is certainly the Premier League’s stand-out defensive midfielder this season.

MC: Cesc Fabregas

Forming a superb partnership with Matic, it’s another Chelsea player in Cesc Fabregas lining up alongside the Serbian in midfield.

MC: Christian Eriksen

In a diamond formation, Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen comes in alongside Fabregas in what would be a superb creative midfield duo with plenty in the way of goals and assists to contribute to their team.

AMC: Eden Hazard

Just ahead of the main midfielders, Chelsea star Eden Hazard takes up a number ten role and certainly would get into most XIs in Europe on current form.

FC: Diego Costa

One of the best strikers in the world at the moment, there’s no doubt Diego Costa’s fine form for Chelsea this season sees him comfortably into this combined lineup.

FC: Harry Kane

Another player in top form in front of goal this season, Spurs starlet Harry Kane partners Costa in this exciting-looking team, which just shows how much quality will be on display at Wembley this weekend.
