The Metro reports which claim the German international is weighing up his options after refusing to sign a new contract with the Bundesliga side.

Arsenal are also in the hunt for the 24-year-old but it’s suggested if he fails to sign a new deal with Dortmund he is most likely to accept a move to Old Trafford.

Gundogan is exactly the kind of robust and adaptable man in the middle United are missing, being able to play as a deep-lying playmaker or in a more advanced central or attacking midfield role.
