Saint-Etienne news
The North-Eastern outfit are battling for their lives in Ligue 1 and realise that their chances of survival are slimming by the game. Currently 20th, Metz have managed to pick up only 22 points, and are cut adrift from Lorient-in 17th place-on 31 points.
Their hopes of survival were dealt a blow last weekend when they were defeated by Stade Rennais and things will not be easier against Saint-Etienne, who beat Lorient on Sunday and are eyeing European qualification.
“I think it will be a committed match,” began Galtier, as reported by France Football, “but we must deliver a performance against Metz.”
