Five shocking videos that prove Lionel Messi is far from perfect!

Barcelona golden boy Lionel Messi is often painted in the media as being a saint, compared to other players in the public eye who are at the peak of their powers, but that’s not necessarily true.

These videos prove he has a long way to go if he wants to be remembered as an amazing player and nice guy to boot.

They also show there’s hope for Manchester City in their Champions League last-16 second leg at the Nou Camp tonight.

Yaya Toure: “Manchester City must not run after the score”

It’s only right we should start with the penalty miss and subsequent open goal clanger which gave Manchester City a fighting chance against the Spanish giants. Joe Hart did well to get down and stop the spot kick, but surely the four time Ballon D’Or winner should have slotted home the rebound with ease?!

It’s not the first time he’s been known to miss a penalty either, with this one against Chelsea slamming off the post in the game which was arguably Roberto di Matteo’s finest tactical hour in his managerial career as the Blues dumped Barca out of the Champions League.

The Argentinian boy wonder should be ashamed at this incident, spitting at Malaga player Duda in a La Liga match in 2008, shameful behaviour.

It seems Lionel Messi has re-offended, seemingly spitting at the Real Madrid bench during El Clasico in 2013. You could argue that this shows the big occasions can sometimes get to the player who is widely regarded as in the top two in the world.

His ball control can even end up in him getting hurt! The less said about this one, the better.
