1) Raheem Sterling

A player already considering his future at Liverpool after holding off contract talks until the summer, it may be that Raheem Sterling is unsure over staying at the club if they are unable to guarantee Champions League football every season, with a player of his quality unlikely to be content with playing in the Europa League.

2) Jordan Henderson

Linked with a surprise move to rivals Chelsea after turning down a new contract at Anfield, Jordan Henderson is another big name who could deal a major blow to Liverpool if he decides to quit the club, looking like the ideal long-term replacement for Steven Gerrard in midfield and as captain of the Reds.

3) Philippe Coutinho

A delightfully skillful player, Philippe Coutinho has had another excellent season for Liverpool and is a player the club could surely struggle to keep hold of if they cannot provide Champions League football, as one would imagine a whole host of top clubs would queue up to sign the young Brazilian playmaker.

4) Daniel Sturridge

Despite his injuries, Daniel Sturridge is a world class goalscorer on his day and could get into most teams around Europe. If Liverpool continue to struggle, the England international is another whose future on Merseyside could come under some doubt.

5) Emre Can

An outstanding young player who rejected the chance to re-sign for Bayern Munich before joining Liverpool, it would not be surprising if offers came in for Emre Can were Liverpool to continue their poor form towards the end of this season.
