Out – Jack Wilshere

Supposedly on Manchester City’s radar this summer, Arsenal should take the money and run if an offer comes in for Jack Wilshere. The injury-prone England midfielder simply hasn’t come close to fulfilling his tremendous potential for the Gunners, looking a far cry from the player it looked like he could become when he first became a first-team regular as a teenager.

In – Morgan Schneiderlin

Brought in in Wilshere’s place should be Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin, who has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League this season and linked several times with a move to Arsenal. Alongside Francis Coquelin, Arsene Wenger could have an excellent midfield pairing for next season.

Out – Theo Walcott

Another injury-prone star not fulfilling his potential for Arsenal, Theo Walcott is another player who should be shown the door this summer if possible. Liverpool and Chelsea are said to be the clubs interested in the England wide-man, who no longer looks an automatic first-team regular with so much competition in the squad.

In – Alexandre Lacazette

A deadly young striker linked with Arsenal and other top clubs, Lyon starlet Alexandre Lacazette would be an ideal purchase for the Gunners to provide more competition for Olivier Giroud, whilst also possibly being an option out wide in the way that Danny Welbeck current plays for the club, but with much more of a consistent goal threat.

Out – Lukas Podolski

Currently on loan at Inter Milan and struggling for form, it looks a long way back at Arsenal for Lukas Podolski, who couldn’t get a game in the side earlier this season. Surely a player heading for the Emirates Stadium exit door this summer?

In – Kevin Wimmer

A promising young centre-back currently with FC Cologne, Kevin Wimmer is a rumoured target for Arsenal and would be a good signing if the club decide not to stick with the inconsistent Per Mertesacker at the back.
