Jesus Navas (Man City)

His first name is apt given that every time he attempts to whip one into the box, that’s what every Man City fan shouts. Clearly talented but needs to spend more time on the training pitch working out how to move the ball from his foot towards a team-mate.

Theo Walcott (Arsenal)

Brain and feet simply not in gear. A real speedster who has the talent to be so so much better. Also those who argue the Arsenal man should be a striker may want to watch a compilation of his one on ones….

Aaron Lennon (Tottenham, on loan to Everton)

Whilst the loaned out Tottenham man is the size of a Subbuteo player there is no reason his crosses should be of a similar nature. Lennon’s efforts from out-wide almost always hit an opponent around the shin area.

Adam Johnson (Sunderland)

Whilst the Sunderland man has obvious skill, and can beat his man with pace and skill, his crossing isn’t all that impressive and let’s face it there are few players more greedy than the former Man City man.

Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

Yes he’s young and yes he’s arguably one of the hottest prospects in the game but at the present time his crossing is below par. No doubt he’ll get that part of his game right, or perhaps Brendan Rodgers’s move to convert the England man into a striker will make such an issue something of a moot point.
