Jaialdi is American event that celebrates Basque culture and traditions. Every five years descendants of Basques who emigrated to the United States gather to eat regional food and participate in songs, games, and dances.

ESPN report that the 2015 celebration will take place from July 28th to August 2nd in Boise in Idaho, with the Tijuana vs Athletic Bilbao being the headline event.

Tijuana are currently the league leaders in Mexico’s Liga MX. They sit one point clear of second placed Veracruz with six games to go. Athletic Bilbao are eighth in Spain’s La Liga with 39 points, two points clear of David Moyes Real Sociedad.

Bilbao play Valencia on Thursday night while Tijuana play Queretaro on Friday.
