An impressive display from the young goalkeeper as he kept Real Madrid’s stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and co. quiet in their 0-0 draw in the quarter-final first leg.

DR: Danilo (Porto)

An impressive young right-back, Danilo was one of many Porto stars on top form as they beat Bayern Munich in a shock 3-1 win.

DL: Alex Sandro (Porto)

On the other side, left-back Alex Sandro also had a great game for the Portuguese giants as they down the 2013 European champions.

DC: Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

Solid at the back for Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos had a commanding display in the derby against Atletico, helping to deny the home side whenever they broke forward.

DC: Diego Godin (Atletico Madrid)

Ramos’ opposite number Diego Godin was equally strong in defence for Atletico, helping Diego Simeone’s side to a clean sheet.

MC: Casemiro (Porto)

A Real Madrid midfielder on loan at Porto, Casemiro had a fine game in the middle of the park in this superb result against Bayern Munich.

MC: Arturo Vidal (Juventus)

Scorer of the winning goal to cap a fine midfield display, Juventus’ Arturo Vidal was a stand-out performer in the win over AS Monaco.

MR: Ricardo Quaresma (Porto)

A player back to his best this season, former Chelsea flop Ricardo Quaresma scored twice and was superb overall in this incredibly Porto performance to down Bayern Munich.

ML: Neymar (Barcelona)

With a well-taken goal to give Barcelona the lead, Neymar had a fine display for the Catalan giants as they claimed a big result in Paris.

FC: Luis Suarez (Barcelona)

With two fine solo efforts, Luis Suarez was undoubtedly one of the best performers of the week in the Champions League as he humiliated PSG defender David Luiz.

FC: Jackson Martinez (Porto)

A top class striker who scored the all-important third goal for Porto over Bayern, Jackson Martinez continues the Portuguese side’s dominance in this best XI.
