Five Bayern Munich stars who could follow Pep Guardiola out of the exit door, including Man United targets

With reports that Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola’s future is in doubt after a recent poor run of form and the exit of the club’s entire medical team (via ESPN), here’s a look at five of the club’s star players who could also be on the move if the Spaniard quits the Allianz Arena at the end of the season…

1) Robert Lewandowski

Only into his first season at Bayern, Robert Lewandowski has not reproduced the fine form he showed at previous club Borussia Dortmund, and has been linked recently with a move to Manchester United.

2) Thomas Muller

Another potentially world class player on the books at Bayern, Thomas Muller has spent his entire career with the Bavarian giants so far, but has also been linked with the likes of Real Madrid in these uncertain times for the Bundesliga champions.

3) Arjen Robben

One of the most improved players under Guardiola, Arjen Robben is another big name who may look for a move elsewhere at the end of this season if the Spanish tactician decides to end his time with the club.

4) Mario Gotze

Linked with Chelsea earlier this season, Mario Gotze has hinted he could be interested in playing abroad and is another superb talent who might become available if there are departures this summer.

5) Bastian Schweinsteiger

Another Bayern star in Manchester United’s sights this summer, German international midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger may be allowed to leave the club after a dip in his performances this term.
