However, they may not get their man as Ligue 1 champions PSG have also made an offer of £32.4 million according to the player’s representative. Juventus and Arsenal are also still keen on the 21-year-old according to Goal. Not only this, but Mascardi believes it could take £36 million to take the youngster away from Italy.

He said: “Paris St Germain have already come forward with an offer of about £32.4m and Chelsea had already reached £28.8m. We’re now at the stage where the price cannot be lower than €50m [£36m]. Paulo is in no hurry and will take his decision calmly.”

The striker has scored 13 goals and created another 10 for his teammates in 30 Serie A appearances this season, leading to the speculation over his future at the mid table side. He has even admitted that this season could be his last at the club.

With a long summer ahead this could rumble on, with the player willing to wait for the best offer possible. As the Stamford Bridge outfit have a clear first choice up front in Diego Costa it may not be the best place for Dybala to go.
