Arsenal rumours

According to recent reports, the Gunners are looking into strengthening in a few different areas, with Arsene Wenger focusing on defensive midfield, attacking midfield and upfront.

This could see these three superb starlets come in from the French top flight this summer if Arsenal are successful in their transfer market plans:

1) Geoffrey Kondogbia (AS Monaco)

A powerful midfield player currently with AS Monaco, Geoffrey Kondogbia has emerged as a target for Arsenal in recent times, with the Daily Mirror mentioning their interest in the 22-year-old after he caught the eye against them in this season’s Champions League, scoring in the 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium.

2) Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

Also a target for Liverpool, Alexandre Lacaztte has shone for Lyon this season, scoring 29 goals and setting up a further six in all competitions. Arsenal are keeping an eye on the 23-year-old, though the Daily Mirror reports that Lyon are understandably desperate to keep hold of this outstanding attacker, who would no doubt be an upgrade on Danny Welbeck at the Emirates Stadium.

3) Nabil Fekir (Lyon)

One of the most promising young attacking midfielders in Europe this season, Nabil Fekir is another top talent on the books at Lyon who has had a hugely impressive season, with the Metro claiming he could move to Arsenal if he is given the chance to continue playing first-team football.
