The 21-year-old has been one of the revelations of the Ligue 1 season; he has bagged 12 goals and contributed nine assists, and impressed with his astute movement and fine dribbling ability.

His form has helped Lyon mount an unlikely title challenge, and Les Gones will return to the top of the French table should they beat Stade de Reims on Sunday evening.

Fekir’s outstanding contribution to Hubert Fournier’s side have also seen him called up to the France national team, and he made his debut against Brazil during the last international break.

However, it remains to be seen whether the youngster will be at OL for much longer.

The Daily Mirror recently reported that Arsenal were following the player closely, but reports in the French media suggest that the Gunners face major competition for the starlet.

Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Premier League rivals Manchester City are also rumoured to be keen on the forward, according to Le 10 Sport.
