Chelsea parked the bus on Sunday and it earned them a valuable point at Arsenal.
Here’s how Jose Mourinho’s Blues rated at the Emirates Stadium…
Thibaut Courtois – 6/10
Picked up a third straight Prem clean sheet, but did not have to work too hard to earn it.
Branislav Ivanovic – 6/10
Chelsea’s defensive robot was solid as ever, but he was a tab lucky to end the game without a yellow card to his name.
John Terry – 7.5/10
His celebrated harder than anyone else and the final whistle and he deserved too. After all, he excelled in his task – keeping Arsenal’s attackers quiet.
Gary Cahill – 7/10
Under the leadership of Terry, Cahill was also a key brick in Chelsea’s defensive wall.
Cesar Azpilicueta – 7.5/10
Azpilicueta never had bad games, does he?
Nemanja Matic – 7.5/10
Matic helped Chelsea win the midfielder battle and keep a lid on the game. He made the game dull to watch, but, from a Chelsea point of view, he was immense and did just what Mourinho asked of him.
Cesc Fabregas – 5.5/10
Seemed intimidated by the occasion. His attempt to dive for a penalty was difficult to watch!
Ramires – 6/10
Excellent without the ball, forgettable with it.
Eden Hazard – 5/10
His quietest game of the season so far.
Willian- 6.5/10
Tried to get attacks going, but, with little support, it wasn’t easy. He worked very hard out of possession.
Oscar – 7/10
Did a good job playing out of position as a lone striker in the first 45 minutes – having two strong penalty claims turned down – but he was replaced at half time by Didier Drogba, who was underwhelming.
