Recent speculation suggests there could be a great deal of movement both in and out of Old Trafford, with some exciting big names coming in to the club to replace those on their way out.

The changes expected are as follows:

Out – Adnan Januzaj

A talented young winger who just isn’t getting the game time at the moment, Adnan Januzaj makes sense as a departure from United this summer.

In – Memphis Depay

In his place, possibly even in a smart swap deal with PSV, £25m winger Memphis Depay could arrive at Old Trafford to provide more quality in the attacking midfield department.

Out – Robin van Persie

Linked with a move to Juventus, Robin van Persie’s time at United looks up after a second disappointing season in a row from the ageing and injury-prone Dutchman.

In – Ilkay Gundogan

With more bodies needed in midfield, £20m Borussia Dortmund star Ilkay Gundogan is widely expected to make the move to Manchester this summer after turning down a new contract with his current employers.

Out – Angel Di Maria

A player who has struggled in his first season as a Manchester United player, Angel Di Maria remains a big-money target for Paris Saint-Germain, and it may prove wise for the Red Devils to cash in on the Argentine while they can.

In – Nathaniel Clyne

With a new signing at right-back needed, Southampton star Nathaniel Clyne looks the likeliest target in a rumoured £25m move.

Out – Javier Hernandez

On loan at Real Madrid and not wanted at United, Javier Hernandez is another player sure to be quitting the club at the end of this season, with Southampton said to be interested.

In – Danny Ings

For a bargan fee of just £5m, United could replace Hernandez and van Persie upfront with the signing of Burnley contract rebel Danny Ings, who has impressed this season.
